We talk about the mass production of clothing as if somehow the clothes are devoid of any human interaction. Having watched a couple of these videos, I'm (strangely when I really think about it) really amazed to see how 'hand crafted' all of the various processes are. I'm particularly surprised to discover how the breaking down processes are so physical and hand done! I was totally imagining something far more automatised… it's almost akin to hand painting. I suppose that generally, we're just so unaware of the connection that our clothes have to the people who made them.
